Default Notifications menu

I was wondering how hard it would be to get a notifications window like the one seen on another vBulletin forum I belong to:

I have attached a screenshot

Since this forum's vBulletin software is a few releases behind the last release of v3, I'm willing to bet that the notifications menu was introduced in a later version than what we are running. I don't remember when it was introduced though, so I may be wrong.

I'll bet when we upgrade to vBulletin 4-something that feature will be easy to spot. Thanks for your patience.

Where did you see that? The footer at the bottom of the page says 3.7.2.

{mod: the OTHER forum where he saw that feature is on v 3.8.4}
