I see people saying CI-1 and CI-7, etc what does this mean?
Thank you. Also, I want to begin restoration but everything seems so confusing for me. Is there a way to mess up? What if I begin without a tugger or cone shaped object and just use tape? I'm kind of wanting to use t-tape but I don't understand how to properly apply it. Can someone link me to a very descriptive video or picture guide on doing it? Thank you. EDIT: Nevermind, I have figured out what it means. |

It means how much skin coverage you have.
Here's two well known sites that give you a good definition of what CI means. http://www.newforeskin.biz/CI/CIchart.htm http://www.restoringforeskin.org/pub...rage-index-rci The second link is probably more accurate, but the first link provides images to show you roughly what each CI represents. :) Also the first link is pretty much accurate up to about CI-4 so those images are good ones to base off. |

Also, to how to begin restoring, I'm probably not the best guy here to advise you there.
I'm just in the process of beggining my own restoring. I will say though that there are various factors which include, how much skin you have initially (the CI ) how much inner and outer skin you have. - Inner skin is the skin you have left between the glans of your penis and your circumcision scar. Also how much shaft/outer skin you have left. These as well as your daily activity (type of work you do) etc will also affect which type of device is best for you to use. If you have a low CI (lower than 3) I'd start off with manual stretching, or cross taping, sometimes known as X taping. Or you can use both, to speed up the process. If you're CI-3 or above, congrats! You can now start using the various tuggers out there. cross taping - http://adult.eskimo.com/~gburlin/restore/image.html Manual stretching - http://www.restoringforeskin.org/pub...gging-method-2 http://pages.suddenlink.net/manual_methods/index.html These are some methods to get you started, but I'm sure a more experienced restorer will come along and give you a lot more info than I can. :) You're already making progress just by joining this forum, my best advice is to look around the various restoring sites, read the threads, and view the galleries, I found tons of information by doing just that. Good luck restoring! :) |

Thanks for posting that 2nd link in regards to the RCI, Mikey! The descriptions there are really helpful..I thought I was at RCI-2 based on pictures I've seen, but am really at RCI-4 thanks to detailed explanation. This place is awesome. I'm even more motivated to continue this process!!!!!!!! Good luck to everyone!!!

You do not need to use a cone or tugger. There are many methods, all effective as far as we know. After all tension is tension. Tension serves as a trigger for growth. Tape is a fine way to start and complete your restoration. Here are some sites to help you: http://www.apollotechonline.com/pdff...estoration.pdf http://www.restoringforeskin.org/pub...thods/t-taping http://www.restoringforeskin.org/for...uide-restoring http://www.restoringforeskin.org/ima...llustrated.pdf There is a methods section on this forum, peruse that as well. Regards
